On Friday, The Supreme Court gave the Modi government a clean chit on the procurement of 36 Rafale fighter jets from France thus quashing all petitions seeking a CBI probe and an FIR for the supposed irregularities in the deal. One of the petitioners Mr Prashant Bhushan continues to believe that the Rafale deal is a scam as no defence deal in the country ever happened without involving a scam or commision under the rule of Congress.
in order to stick with his statement, Prashant Bhushan is now demanding a free Rafale ride to check out the various specifications of the aircraft. He also wants to verify the speed of the plane so as to confirm if it reaches the speed it claims.
CM Arvind Kejriwal has also come out in support of Prashant Bhushan and has asked if he too could be accommodated in the Rafale ride by attaching a seat to the existing design. Whereas, Abhishar Sharma has claimed that the Rafale jet does not have any top headlight, which means that it could put the lives of our pilots in danger and is hence equivalent to a scam.
