Kerala flooding has displaced millions of people and killed more than 400. While no donation is big enough to restore the affected people’s lives back to normalcy, the generous Bollywood industry has come in solidarity with the victims. With Sushant Singh Rajput donating ₹1 crores, Shah Rukh Khan donating ₹21 lacs and 500 tweets, all the Bollywood celebrities are extending help as per their capacities. Big B’s family is not far behind in this.
Abhishek Bachchan has donated a sum of ₹10 lacs, and for some unknown reasons, and unlike other celebrities, it was a surprisingly a silent donation. Abhishek Bachchan did not intend to make news for this, but as fate would have it, the news of the donation leaked when his cheque bounced.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has come out in his defense, which adds more absurdity to the already awkward situation. She disclosed that Abhishek Bachchan had mistakenly signed a chequebook which had expired long back. Bollywood news expert, Miss Malini believes that the cheque has bounced due to insufficient balance.
Soon after the news broke, Uday Chopra and Dino Morea were also seen lining up in the bank, requesting their bank managers to withdraw their cheques.
