Modi Govt Brings Major Changes In NCERT Textbooks, All The Textbooks Will Now Have Hard Covers

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) textbooks are set for another major change, which the government decided after facing severe criticism on social media.
People who have voted for BJP in consecutive Lok Sabha elections have very high expectation from Modi and changing NCERT textbooks is one of the major expectations. However, Modi govt seems to fail in majority of them. Congress when came in power in 2004, introduced the new NCERT textbooks in 2005, whereas Modi government hasn’t made any major change in sever years.
To pacify the social media users outraging against the government, Modi government has announced major changes in NCERT textbooks and now all the books will be available with hardcovers.
“The school textbooks will now see another major change” tweeted the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) while launching hardcover textbooks.
