Delhi: In a bizarre news from Delhi a couple has named their newborn Covid to maintain social distancing with their relatives.
Somya and Rajiv got married last year and had a bad experience meeting their annoying relatives, since then they have been thinking about excuses to stay away from the relatives.
After they couldn’t think of a genuine excuse they consulted their mutual friend pandemic, who was also named by his parents to avoid relatives. Pandemic suggested them to name him Covid.
“Relatives aren’t even calling us to congratulate let alone coming to our house. I am so happy about the deceiving we made” said Somya to The Fauxy.
