Amidst the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, a new controversy has erupted. Pakistan PM has applied for Indian Citizenship saying that his ancestors were Hindus and he has been forcefully converted hence, he is also a religiously persecuted minority and should be given citizenship. Imran Khan also claimed that his real name is Ishwarcharan.
If sources are to be believed, Imran Khan applied for citizenship after General Parvez Mushharaf was given death penalty for treason. A majority of Pakistani Prime Ministers didn’t resign or leave their position with dignity and most of them were sentenced by the court or were killed. Seeing the same, Imran Khan (now Ishwarcharan) wants to become a normal citizen in India.
Pak Defence Expert Ayyub said the way Indian Army is seizing PoK and other areas of Pakistan, anyway the country would become a part of India eventually. Imran Khan is doing no wrong.
