Lucknow: On Friday, two days before Diwali, in a bizarre incident a 5-storey building caught fire after an explosion took place, injuring more than 3 people of a family. Prima-facie police suspected gas cylinder burst, however, after a detailed investigation, it was found that it was a bomb explosion.
Sahil, 34, had placed a bomb in sonpapdi box only to find out which of his neighbors actually open the box and doesn’t simply pass it. It’s been a trend now that neighbors and relatives give each other sonpapdi boxes as Diwali sweets, and in most of the cases they simply pass on the boxes they have received.
“I wanted to break this trend once and all but for that, I wanted to know who opens it and who passes it on that’s why I kept a bomb in it. I tried RFID tag and permanent marker too but once it travels a distance it becomes difficult to track it” said Sahil who’s currently under police custody.
Fauxy wishes all its readers a Very Happy Diwali and suggests them to keep a safe distance from crackers and sonpapdi boxes.
