Tension prevailed in central Delhi’s Hauz Qazi area after clashes broke out between two groups belonging to different communities over a parking issue, following which a temple was vandalized, police said Monday.
But now the true story of the incident has come out. The monument was demolished to help replicate the incidents of 1992, the year when Pakistan won the world cup.
The Pakistani team and fans are trying hard to draw a parallel between the 1992 world cup and 2019 world cup. The team is trying very hard to do all things that were done in 1992 and even the fans are not behind. Just like in 1992 when a religious monument was taken down, fans replicated the same in Delhi by demolishing the temple. During interrogation one of the accused revealed that this was the only way they could have helped the Pakistani team.
After India’s loss to England, Pakistan is now supporting New Zealand to win its match against England so that somehow they can enter the semifinals.
