Elon Musk has finally revealed why the Indian Tesla variant costs almost double the U.S. version by listing features that are only present in the Indian one.

Titanium Shock Absorbers: Elon Musk first tried to train the Tesla AI to simply avoid potholes, but as that proved impossible on Indian roads, he had to upgrade the steel shock absorbers to titanium ones—driving up the cost.

Extra Hand to Bribe Sneakily: Since the Tesla is a self-driving car, teaching it to negotiate with traffic police and subtly offer a bribe using an extra hand took extensive research and training.

Automatic Language-Changing Number Plates: Observing the language wars in multiple Indian states, Tesla’s number plates now automatically switch languages based on GPS location.

Fast-Track Bail in Case of an Accident: In the event of an accident, the Tesla AI is already trained to take all the blame on itself, freeing the driver of any charges. It can also write an essay for the driver if needed.

Dedicated Panic System: The Indian Tesla variant features a dedicated chip and sensors that constantly scan the road to ensure the car instantly enters panic mode and steers clear as soon as it detects any Scorpio, Fortuner, or Mahindra Thar.

Elon Musk clarified that the Indian Tesla version took heavy inspiration from Tarzan: The Wonder Car, and he also thanked Ajay Devgan for inspiring him to design a driverless car.
