A man travelling without a ticket vowed to vote for PM Modi for life after successfully bribing the TC by withdrawing cash from the newly installed ATM on his train.
Speaking to The Fauxy, both the man and the TC, while praising the Railway Minister for improving the ease of doing business in trains, said, “Due to UPI, no one carries cash anymore, but he learned from the Electoral Bonds fiasco that it’s not a good idea to involve banks — and cash is still king when it comes to bribing. Hence, the ATMs in trains.”
Currently, the Modi government is planning to install ATMs in every police station across India to exponentially increase their voter base.
