Big news is coming in from the makers of Squid Game, who have announced that the next season of the survival thriller will be shot in India.
Speaking to The Fauxy, “Squid Game director Hwang Dong-hyuk said he wanted a real location to make the show even more realistic, and recent events in India suggest it is the perfect setting“.
The Fauxy’s sources reveal that the “next season of Squid Game will feature contestants boarding trains, attending the Mahakumbh, walking in Pune, getting admitted to government hospitals, and telling a dark joke“.
The Government of India has welcomed the decision, stating that it reflects India’s growing dominance in the entertainment industry as well.
