Big news is coming in from the National Capital, where a man reportedly stood in the iPhone 16 queue for hours, mistakenly believing it was a queue for free rations.
The man thought such a long queue must be for free rations, as 80% of the country’s population relies on it to survive. However, he was disappointed when his turn came, and he was asked to pay a lakh rupees — an amount greater than his total wealth.
Speaking to The Fauxy, the man said, “I may be poor, but I’m not stupid enough to stand in a queue for a phone.”
The man is currently trying to figure out which queue is for free rations, as there are many queues for the iPhone, Coldplay concerts, cricket match tickets, and more.
