On Tuesday, loyal supporters of BJP were left in utter shock and despair when PM Modi stated that he will never divide people into Hindus and Muslims and the day he starts doing it, he will be unworthy of public life. Upon hearing it, some supporters started crying while others rushed to their local tattoo artist to get the tattoo of “MODI” removed from their hearts.
Speaking to Fauxy, a hardcore BJP supporter said, “I have spent a long time learning how to identify India’s enemy based on their beard style. I also changed my life goal from becoming a doctor to helping India become ‘Hindurashtra’ and now you are telling me it was all for nothing.” He also added, “Not only me but my friends and family also are worried that just like old 500 and 1000 rupee notes, PM Modi has made their WhatsApp university degrees obsolete as well.”
Some supporters are still refusing to believe that politicians might say anything to win and are calling it as BJP’s counter-strategy to the opposition’s ‘Divide and Rule’: ‘Confuse and Rule’.
Currently, many BJP supporters are watching PM Modi’s speeches from 2002 to remember the old Modi they fell in love with, while others are asking PM Modi to wear a ‘skull cap’ to check the authenticity of his statement.
