The last batch of students nearly 700 stranded in Sumy near the Russian border — has finally arrived in India. With this last flight, the government is wrapping up Operation Ganga. However, there is likely to be one more flight going to Ukraine. Reportedly, among these 700 students is a Ukrainian soldier whom the Indian govt mistakenly rescued.
Ukrainian soldier was trying to hide from the Russian soldiers and took a safe refuge among Indians. While students were boarding the flight, the Ukrainian soldier also boarded the flight and has now arrived in India.
“We had 700 students and 30 ministers to board the flight, but there are 732 seats including two pilots seats, if Ukrainian soldier is here that means we have missed our one pilot in Ukraine” said an officer of Operation Ganga.
“Since I am here now, I’ll visit the ‘incredible India’ before I go back to Ukraine. Anyway the situation in Ukraine isn’t very conducive to live” told the Ukrainian Soldier to The Fauxy.
