Kejriwal Govt Launches Odd-Even Formula to Save People From Increasing Air Pollution. Asks Delhites To Breath On Odd-Even Days According To Their Birth Date
Kejriwal Government in Delhi has finally taken a decisive and historic step to curb pollution in Delhi. Based on the Odd-Even model for automobiles, now Odd-Even model for humans will be implemented in which people with odd birth date will breath on odd days and even birth date will breath on even days.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has said that he was working on this idea since last 6 months and was waiting for pollution to reach a right level in Delhi to implement this. He also added that this step was necessary as Delhi has 1.2 crore registered vehicles whereas population has reached the peak of approximately 3.2 crore. Hence, applying odd-even model alone for vehicles would have never worked to control pollution. Delhi Dy-CM Manish Sisodia has supported this decision on twitter. He also added that not breathing on half days of a month will leave enough oxygen for others who can breath on even days keeping substantial amount of oxygen in atmosphere.
Not only odd-even scheme for breathing but Delhi Government is also drafting a new law by which food items like Chhole Kulchhe, Momos, Rajma Chawal etc will be banned in Delhi as farts are also one of the major contributor to pollution in Delhi. Delhi Government is planning to raise awareness about this in public by launching massive advertisent campaigns.
