Early on the morning of February 24th, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on state television that Russia will carry out a ‘special military operation’ in eastern Ukraine, Since then Russia has taken control of many cities of Ukraine. However, on 27th, Russian military made a massive blunder.
Reportedly, Russian military personnel have been using Apple Maps for navigating in Ukraine and this is what left them in embarrassment. Russia claimed that it has taken complete control of Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv but it was in-fact Moscow.
Apple map had misdirected the Russian military back to Russia where they brutally attacked people in Moscow. While Russia has decided to sue Apple, United Nations and NATO countries are nominating Apple for Nobel Peace Prize.
“Apple Maps is shit! If we had asked the way to Ukrainians they would have told us better and right ways” told a Russian Military officer to The Fauxy.
