Right from politics to Bollywood to cricket to CAA NRC Protest, Uber drivers in India have a story for everything. And the entertainment is received by their passengers. We have seen many stories shared by passengers on Twitter where the Uber driver went on and on and on regarding a topic and told stories better than the likes of Chetan Bhagat.
And in the current scenario, there is no shortage of topics. CAA NRC Protest, Ravi Shastri, Deepika Padukone, and much more, there is simply so much to talk about for the Uber drivers. But now Uber has decided that it will not let the passengers hear the stories for free and then become a celebrity on twitter. And hence, Uber has launched Uber super-premium where the cab driver will be a renowned storyteller.
Uber will tie with many out of work scriptwriters of Bollywood who require money. It a win-win situation for the scriptwriter as well as Uber. Uber will give them a list of weekly stories or current affairs on which they can tell a good story. The person booking these cabs will get to hear the stories for about 30 minutes after which he/she will have to recharge the Uber wallet.
For the first few rides, Uber will give away the story for free so that more and more people avail this service.
