An Indian Influencer’s Twitter account was temporarily suspended after he tweeted “I am a proud man”.
He was tweeting in response to a tweet by a feminist who called all men are trash. Reportedly, the man’s tweet violated Twitter rules. Specifically, for the following reasons: Breaching rules prohibiting hate speech behaviour. Threatening, harassing or encouraging violence against others on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, gender identity is not permitted”.
Twitter India also tweeted reiterating its strict guidelines against gender discrimination. Twitter India is also coming up with its new update introducing woke genders where men will get an option of choosing ‘women’ or ‘transgender’ as their gender.
