On Sunday night at the G7 Summit, Melania Trump gazed at Canadian leader Justin Trudeau and both almost seemed to share a moment, while President Trump was standing next to Melania. Dressed in a fitted red pencil frock, Melania’s air kiss to Trudeau looked love-struck and the image went viral.
Although Trump didn’t look over-possessive but was caught listening to ‘Thukra ke mera pyaar mera inteqaam dekhegi’, a famous Bollywood song later that night. Reportedly, hurt with the incident, Trump has already moved on and has offered meditation to resolve any issue between Trudeau and Melania so that the couple can lead peaceful life. Trump tweeted that he had a great meeting with Canadian leader Trudeau and his ex Melania. He also hoped that the normalcy gets restored soon.
However, Trudeau has declined the third party mediation offer of Trump, saying it’s a bilateral issue and “we don’t want to trouble any third person”.
External affairs expert of India Shashi Tharoor has called it a remarkable decision and believes that such an inter-country relationship should be encouraged as it will not only improve the bilateral trade but will also give a boost to the economy as dowry will involve a custom duty too.
