Big news is coming from New Orleans, where the FBI reportedly had to act shocked upon finding bomb-making materials and an open Quran at the attacker’s home, allegedly to avoid Islamophobia.
On New Year’s Day, Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove a rented truck into Bourbon Street, mowing down revelers in what US federal investigators have termed an act of terrorism. Fourteen people were killed, dozens injured, and Jabbar himself died in a shootout with police.
Speaking to The Fauxy, an FBI agent said, “Acting school is a part of FBI training so that we can act shocked in case we find the attack to be an act of Islamic terror, ensuring Islamophobia doesn’t trend.“
However, overacting by an FBI agent inadvertently revealed the truth, sparking a wave of Islamophobia.
Currently, the FBI is working to manage the fallout from the incident.
