Since the time Modi Ji took oath as the PM in 2014, BJP began questioning almost everything that’s left of Nehru and the Gandhi family. With time the debate around this dynasty has only heightened. Whether it’s about labelling government schemes after leaders who were Nehru’s rivals or the act of deliberately ignoring Nehru while talking about freedom fighters – the BJP government has been constantly spreading awareness around other freedom fighters who played an equally well or even a more significant role in seizing us the independence that we enjoy today.

Congress has been accusing Modi of destroying the Nehru-Gandhi legacy since a long time now, but their recent accusation has wreaked a mayhem. In order to spread awareness of sexually transmitted diseases among the youth, BJP govt is undertaking several initiatives including a nationwide information campaign and installation of condom vending machines at prominent public locations. These initiatives are upsetting Congress who believes that it’s an attempt to destroy the legacy of Nehru, who according to several documents died due to an STD.

When it comes to destroying the Nehru-Gandhi legacy, this is not the only allegation against Modi. Recently when mob lynching stories are surfacing all over the news, senior Congress leaders accused the Modi Govt of copying the modus operandi of Late Rajiv Gandhi, who has been popularly called the ‘Father Of Mob Lynching’ by social media users. Mysteriously enough, banners depicting the same are now installed in various locations in Delhi and some are viewing it as Congress’ efforts under the #KnowYourLegacy campaign.

Note: This article is completely a work of fiction and we love Nehru Ji as much as he loved children (but a tad little less than he loved Edwina).
