An Indian student back from war-hit Ukraine strongly criticised the government today, saying gestures like distributing flowers are too less for the citizens returning from the conflict zone. He said that these people especially students be given atleast ‘Param Veer Chakra’.
“Deepanshu had boarded Air India flight all by himself after fighting began in Ukraine and he was greeted with just a rose“. said Deepanshu’s friend Ritika
“Why union ministers, what is Modi doing? Why can’t he come to welcome these brave students?” asked another Deepanshu’s friend.
Asked if they received help from the Indian embassy in Ukraine, he told The Fauxy, “We boarded a jam packed train for a while I thought I am in a Mumbai local but people here were more civilised. Upon boarding the flight we were not given even window ticket let alone business class.”
A few more students joined Deepanshu’s demand saying returning alive from Ukraine is an act of bravery and must be rewarded.
