In a big blow to India, Shikhar Dhawan, who scored a fantastic ton against Australia at the Oval, has been ruled out of the 2019 Cricket World Cup for 3 weeks owing to a thumb injury. Dhawan had been hit on his left thumb during the same match, however, medical reports suggest that the injury worsened after Dhawan scrolled through Sanjay Manjerakar’s Twitter timeline.

Cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjerakar has been a real pain lately. Through his social media posts and Hindi commentary, he’s proved more lethal for Indian batsmen than Australian and South African bowlers. Dhawan after reaching the pavilion during India-Australia match, opened his social media account to check the reaction of his fans. Mistakenly he ended up opening Sanjay Manjerakar’s timeline and kept scrolling through it until the already injured thumb’s pain aggravated.

Reportedly, another cricket enthusiast, Alok Mishra, reported bleeding from his ears while watching India v/s Australia. Later it was learnt that Alok intercepted a lot of bullshit through his ears which eventually lead to blood oozing out of his ears.

“With every channel being charged for separately, I did not buy all sports channels but the only one, and that too in Hindi. I got annoyed with Sanjay Manjerakar’s commentary but then I love the sound of a bat hitting a ball. That’s why I did not mute my TV and kept watching the watch at a good volume. After some time I felt something dripping on my shirt and turned around to find my shirt stained red. Yes it was blood!” tweeted Alok from ICU.

Coach Ravi Shastri has called Dhawan as Eklavya and Manjerakar as Dronacharya and the world cup as Mahabharata, which makes absolutely no sense.
