Just recently, the former head of Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue said that the country is bankrupt. Pakistan’s total debts and liabilities have crossed PKR 50.5 trillion and the current account deficit has increased to 4.7 per cent of GDP, far above the target of 2-3 per cent for 2021.
Pakistan PM is leaving no stone unturned to get funding from wherever it’s possible. A few days back, Pakistan PM Imran Khan was seen in Russia asking for funds when Russia itself was at the brink of war with Ukraine. Now, the Pakistan PM has made Pakistan’s bankruptcy a little more evident by his acts.
Reportedly, Pakistan PM Imran Khan has followed a Twitter account, iMemeStore, after seeing it distributing money to the users. iMemeStore has been organising the contests and their prize money is creating a lot of buzzes. They are also planning to organize a contest that will have iPhone13 as a giveaway.
Some of the Pakistan ministers were also seen making memes to earn money from iMemeStore. A Pakistani Minister was using pseudonyms to make money from iMemeStore, however, the minister mistakenly posted the meme from his official account. Ironically, the meme was on Pakistan’s economic condition. The minister later claimed that his account was hacked.
“We don’t have any bias, if you are making a good meme you’ll be rewarded irrespective of you being a minister or a Pakistani or both. Our tagline says – No meme will go unnoticed,” said Sophia, Admin, iMemestore.
