The SC on Monday imposed a nationwide blanket ban on the manufacture and sale of yellow goggles. In its verdict, the court said only shades of black, brown and blue glasses shall be allowed to be sold in the country from now on.
The apex court announced the verdict after citing examples of people losing their sanity after wearing yellow shades. The 800 page judgement mentions celebrities like Hardik Pandya, whose case is subjudice for speaking nonsense on the Koffee with Karan show. Another case was that of Rani Mukherjee for her statement at a chat show that women are responsible for #MeToo. And lastly Sonakshi Sinha for her father Shatrughan Sinha.
