On Monday, England withdrew its men’s and women’s teams from next month’s tour of Pakistan, the country’s cricket board (ECB) tweeted, three days after New Zealand abandoned their tour of the country amid security concerns.
As if the consecutive embarrassment wasn’t enough, Russia on Monday formed its cricket team overnight and announced its first tour to Pakistan and cancelled it minutes after Pakistan started celebrating the news.
