Ravish Kumar raises concern on foreign policy after India spoils relation with SA and Aus by beating them in World Cup

India rose to no 2 on the points table after a convincing victory against the Kangaroos. The match was almost over after a big first innings total by India and the bowlers did their job exceedingly well by not giving an inch on the field. Though most of India is happy with the victory, Ravish Kumar, the perennial critic of the government, has criticized the government’s foreign policy.

Just after India’s victory, Ravish Kumar on his primetime with Ravish raised concern on the new government’s foreign policy. Ravish said that Australia and South Africa are important countries and India should not have defeated them.

The relations with the big countries is important as conveyed by the PM’s various visits to foreign countries, and these defeats would spoil relations with the countries.

Ravish went further to advise the government that defeating New Zealand in the next match would make it sure that the new government has completely failed in its relations with the foreign countries and so it makes sense that India gives other countries a chance to win against them in the coming matches. Comments from the external affairs ministry awaited.
