In a horrific incident in the capital, a woman was raped and murdered while she was waiting for the bus to go back to home after office. However, all the accused were caught within 24 hours and were taken into custody.
Confessing to the police, one of the rape accused was totally surprised that he was caught and no activist is coming to file his mercy plea despite him belonging to minority community. He told the police that activists support has always been his strength while committing a crime and the way activists tried to save Kasab, one of the terrorists of 26/11 attacks, boosted his morale.
Soon after the incident, country witnessed a candle march and protests in various cities. Protestors are demanding the death penalty for the rapists and some are asking to ban rape.
