Recently quoting an India Today article PM Narendra Modi accused Rajiv Gandhi of using the Indian warship INS Viraat for his family holiday.
The attached images seemed proof enough for the claims but Congress president Rahul Gandhi who accompanied Rajiv Gandhi on INS Viraat had something different to say.
“At that time the entire world was under threat. Fishermen were scared to go into the sea even in the day time. Since Rajiv Gandhi really loved seafood, he took it on himself to fight those who were responsible for this constant state of fear i.e. the Pirates of the Caribbean so as to ensure an uninterrupted supply of seafood,” Rahul Gandhi said.
“We faced them in the sea near Lakshadweep. Rajiv Gandhi did not stop until he chased them off to the Caribbean islands in a battle that lasted for ten whole days!” Rahul further added.
“PM Modi constantly talks about conducting surgical strikes and air strikes while we conducted water strikes and never even told anyone!” he said before leaving the ground in his personal aircraft.
