Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP of nepotism and said only the Congress can finish nepotism. Launching an all-out attack on Modi at the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatral’ rally, he said Modi has been attacking Congress for promoting nepotism while his own daughter is being launched in Bollywood.
“Modi Ji Ki Beti is making a grand entry to the same Bollywood which Modi and his supporters have been calling a hub of nepotism. This is irony” said another congress leader.
Reportedly, Rahul Gandhi was hinting at the Bollywood upcoming movie ‘Modi Ji Ki Beti’, whose plot is based on a girl who gets trapped in an unusual controversy after a journalist mistook her to be the daughter of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the girl has the same surname, Modi. The film stars Avani Modi in a protagonist role and the comedy-drama is produced by Eddy Singh, Avani Modi, and Arpit Garg and is directed by Eddy Singh.
Accusing Modi and BJP of doing politics of appeasement, Rahul Gandhi said “While BJP ruled Karnataka is against Hijab in schools and colleges, Modi Ji Ki Beti can be seen wearing Hijab.“.
Answering the allegations put by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader and spokesperson Sambit Patra said “Modi Ji Ki Beti is not just one, her has millions of Beti infact every daughter of India is Modi Ji Ki Beti“. After which Congress demanded population control bill.
