Today’s the penultimate phase of 2019 Lok Sabha election, Over 10 crore voters will decide the fate of 979 candidates on 59 seats in seven states. Delhi, famous for low voter turn out is also to witness voting today and this time election commission is taking several measures to ensure maximum voter turnout.

In such an attempt, many booths of South Delhi have been painted as Starbucks to draw more people to the booths. People of South Delhi are known to be obsessed with Starbucks coffee as it’s the costliest in the town. Many of these people can go to any extent to have their daily coffee with their name written on the cup.

The Fauxy journalist spoke to the Election Commission official in charge, he said “See South Delhi people have their own priorities. They need their coffee first and everything else later. Since we promote “Pehle matdaan fir jalpaan” – first vote then eat, in their case we decided to confuse them. It’s doing good as we have already crossed 12% of voter turnout by 10:30 AM.”

Soon after the success of these booths, the Election Commission replicated the formula in Bihar too and decorated booths as pan shops.
