Makar Sankranti is a major harvest festival celebrated in India and people celebrate it by flying kites from their terraces. With advancement in technology the quality of kites and strings have improved significantly but at the same time the strings have become more danger and every years many birds and people get injured.
In this year too, a dog died due to kite flying festival. Reportedly, an over enthusiastic Peta activist saw a bird sitting new her flat window and there was a string flying around the bird, the peta activist dived to save the bird but the bird flew and the peta activist fell down from the window of her 3rd floor apartment straight on a dog.
“98Kg, Peta activist fell on a dog and dog became flat right there. The dog died on the spot” told the veterinary doctor to The Fauxy.
