Big news is coming in from Sri Lanka where Pakistani player Shahnawaz Dahani has been detained by Srilankan emigration officer reportedly for lying.
Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani joined the team to Asia cup and the same day Pakistan got knocked out of Asia Cup 2023 after Srilanka beat Pakistan in a close contest.
Shahnawaz Dahani told the emigration officer that he’s in SriLanka to play the Asia cup. However, he didn’t play a single game.
After being detained for over 8 hours, the player was released upon SriLankan players requested the emigration officer to let him go.
