On Wednesday, Singapore foreign minister Vivian Balakrishnan slammed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for his tweet on a dangerous variant in Singapore.
“Politicians should stick to facts! There is no “Singapore variant”,” Balakrishnan replied to Kejriwal on twitter.
Hours after being slammed by various leaders across the world, Arvind Kejriwal did a press confreres like everyday to talk nothing significant. However, Arvind Kejriwal in an attempt to defend himself said that he never talked about Singapore, but Shani Shingnapur, a village in Maharashtra.
Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party workers supported Kejriwal’s clarification with data and facts that Maharashtra has huge number of Covid cases.
AAP workers are claiming that with the recent incident Arvind Kejriwal has become a global phenomenon and is now more popular than Narendra Modi worldwide.
