Amidst the controversy around a popular jewellery brand Tanishq, The Fauxy has brought to you interview of a man who gives no shit to gold or may be he does, a tons of shit everyday.
Bala Maniratnam has over 32 Kg gold in house including 5.3 Kg as his toilet pot. In an exclusive interview to The Fauxy, Bala said “I was a middle class person and had no liking for gold but one day a man insulted me saying I can’t afford gold, it hurt my ego and that was the day I decided to shit on gold. I sold my kidney and one eye to get some money which I invested and after 3 years I bought golden toilet pot”.
Bala further added, “there’s always huge queue at the toilet pipe outlet because some gold recedes every time I shit and flush”
Bala made a remark “kuch bhi karne ka but ego hurt nahi karna ka” (do what you want but don’t hurt my ego).
