Marwari wife gives birth to 7th child so that elder sibling’s clothes can be used again
To reuse the elder siblings’ clothes is ‘parampara pratistha and anushashan’ in India. It is a sin to not use the elder sibling’s clothes again and again. But a Marwari couple in Mumbai went a step further. They, in fact, gave birth to 7th child so that the elder sibling’s clothes can be used for the 7th year in a row.
The couple had bought clothes for the oldest son 7 years ago. And just to use the clothes again and again they kept on having a new child every year. The count has reached 7 now. What they have not realized is that there is heavy discount on ecommerce websites and they can get clothes at a very less price. But such is their dedication to maintain the family culture that they could not resist having a new child every year.
According to what they said to the fauxy reporters, they had bought the clothes for the oldest sibling by saving money for many years and hence did not want to waste that money by using the clothes just for one year.
The fauxy team is in process to find if this couple is the record holder or there are couple with more than 8 children to achieve the same goal.
