Mahindra Invents Car That Runs On Motivational Quotes

While almost all automobile companies are working towards developing efficient electric vehicles, the Indian multinational car manufacturing corporation Mahindra & Mahindra has invented a unique car that runs on motivational quotes.

A team of 2 IITians and one ITI person from the R&D team of Mahindra & Mahindra has invented the novel car that uses motivational quotes as fuel. Talking about their invention, the team explained: “Motivational quotes on WhatsApp are generally considered a waste. So we thought if different kind of waste material can be used as fuel why not this be it? Thus it inspired us to design an engine that runs on motivational quotes.”

Reportedly, the car is set to launch on 1st April 2020. The car is designed to accommodate two drivers at any point of time, one to read out the motivational quotes while the other one gets motivated to pedal the car faster. The drivers have an option to swap their positions when one of the drivers stops getting motivated.

Congratulating the team, Chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra said: “We shouldn’t get too complacent and start using Bollywood scripts too. Let’s face it, they are a waste of time, money and paper. But they cannot be used to fuel car engines. Given the amount of garbage quotient in them, they can maybe replace rocket fuel instead.”
