On July 29 , Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Cabinet cleared The National Education Policy 2020 that seeks to bring change in the Indian education system. While most of the students are happy with the change, JNU students showed their disliking for the New Education Policy by an online Protest.
JNU students said the New Education Policy is no different from the old one for them as they still have to study to pass the exam. Speaking to The Fauxy, JNU (Ghana History) Student Sandeep Gosh, 74, said “there’s no socialism and communism in this new education policy and marks will not be distributed equally among all the students, this is against the social fabric of the country and we will start a protest once the pandemic is over”.
