Inspiring: Salman Khan spends 2 minutes on the footpath to understand what beggars go through.

Often called out for his apathy towards the poor and the underprivileged, Salman Khan is now inspiring many to understand the pain of beggars who sleep on the footpath and become victims of drunk driving cases.

On Monday, at around 2 midnight, Salman Khan stopped his caravan of 6 SUVs to spent some time on the footpath of Carter Road in Bandra.

During his two minutes on the footpath, Salman Khan was accompanied by his 12 security guards, who ensured that the actor is not uncomfortable.

Salman Khan spoke to a few footpath dwellers and tried to understand their concerns, he also tried everything in his means to address their problems.

One such footpath dweller shared with Salman about how he gets worried and always gets up whenever a car passes by. To put an end to his misery, Salman Khan gave the man an innovative idea to sleep parallel to the footpath instead of sleeping in a perpendicular fashion.
