In a huge setback for the Congress party, its former president Rahul Gandhi has been disqualified from the Lok Sabha because of his conviction in a 2019 criminal defamation case.
Popular for his funny gaffes, Rahul Gandhi was a Member of Lok Sabha representing the Wayanad Parliamentary Constituency of Kerala. Rahul Gandhi will no longer be able to deliver speech in Loka Sabha and that will impact India’s ranking on Happiness Index. “India has been ranked 126th in world happiness index and Rahul Gandhi not delivering his funny speeches will make people sad who used to watch his videos for entertainment” said a Journalist.
Reportedly, BJP leaders are also unhappy with Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification and that would further drop India’s ranking in world happiness index. However, Congress party members and its supporters are happy with disqualification but their number is too small to impact the ranking.
