Indian PM Modi Speaks To Putin, Convinces Him To Observe Ceasefire During IPL

A number of tweets are coming in hailing PM Modi, as reports emerged that Russia had agreed to stop the war for the much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL 2022). Today, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 which will be held in Mumbai and Pune.

Reportedly, after the announcement of the IPL Schedule the broadcast partners were apprehensive about the number of viewers due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine Crisis. However, the issue has been resolved now. Indian PM Modi spoke to Russia’s president Putin and urged him to halt the war for a month during IPL to which Russia Putin has agreed.

The Fauxy sources suggest that PM Modi in his brief talk with Russian President Putin said that the world can’t watch two big war at once and a bigger war should be given limelight and Russia must halt the war.

Putin has agreed on the terms that in all the UN Resolutions against Russia, India will either vote for Russia or abstain from voting.
