Govt Relaxes Covid Mask Restriction, Allows to Hang Mask on Ear
With high Covid vaccination rates and the numbers of cases and rate of hospitalisations falling overall in many parts of the country, the government has relaxes the Covid norms and mask restrictions. This is yet another sign that we are moving one step closer to living with Covid.
On Wednesday government released a public order with updated covid norms. The updated Covid norms allows people to hang their masks on ear and wear if they get notified on Arogya Setu. However, the order says that for right-handed people the mask should be on left ear and vice-versa. This is done to ensure that the mask can be wore faster in case a covid suspect is around.
