31st October will be marked as the most significant day for women empowerment as feminism has once again shown its power, giving a very solid reason to feminists world-across celebrate.

On 31st, Architect Niharika Manchanda, who identifies herself as a feminist, went against all odds to design and build a house without a kitchen. Niharika took more than 9 months to build the house, which now no one wants to buy or take on rent. Niharika knew this but in the larger interest these were all small issues and Niharika was in no mood to succumb to these stereotypes.

In a special interview with @The_Fauxy, Niharika told “Women are often called dish washers and are believed to take care of all house chores even when she’s working. I wanted to break this social stigma for once and all. I first stopped doing any work at home and maid was taking care of all the work. Maid was a woman too that made me think of something that totally eliminates women doing hose chores. I decided to buy a robot but it was also a female by name. Finally, I decided to not have a kitchen at all”.

Niharika also gave a message to her fans and followers asking them to come up with an idea that breaks the stereotypes. Fauxy will try to bring all such latest feminism stories to you.
