HANUMAN JAYANTI 2022: Today on the occasion Hanuman Jayanti Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings. Many other leaders, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh too extended their greetings. However, environmentalists on the other hand condemned the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti.
Reportedly, Environmentalists Diya, condemned the celebration of Lord Hanuman Jayanti saying Hanuman destroyed Ashok Vatika. She called Ashok Vatika being destroyed by Hanuman as an early signs of deforestation and global warming. She didn’t stop there and blamed Lord Hanuman for current economic crisis of Sri Lanka. “Ashok Vatika could have fed atleast one fourth of Sri Lanka, but thanks to Hanuman it’s destroyed” said Diya.
Divya asked Lord Hanuman devotees to restore the Ashok Vatika and only then celebrate the birth of Lord Hanuman.
“Imagine the global warning that was caused when Hanuman put an entire nation, Srilanka on fire” said another environmentalist Nivedita. Reportedly, an environmentalist has filed a PIL against lord Hanuman for destroying Ashok Vatika.
