Delhi People Buy Redmi Phones As Delhi Govt Bans Firecrackers During Diwali

The Delhi government has imposed a Rs 200 fine and a six-month jail term for purchasing and bursting crackers in the national capital on Diwali. And they call it necessity is mother of invention, Delhi People have found a unique solution to this problem.

Reportedly, Delhi people are buying Redmi Phones (new or second hand) ahead of Diwali, expecting the phones to behave normally and blast like a Diwali cracker.

Some of these Redmi Phones are even cheaper than firecrackers of some premium brands and the glow, sound and power of explosion is even better than the best firecrackers available in market. When our team went to different markets to get more information about this, shopkeepers told them about an old saying, “bigger the battery, better the explosion.” The shopkeepers told us that phones of some other Chinese brands are also in demand as they explode too even by slightest of ignition but they can’t guarantee explosion of same size.

Some people are also confusing the authorities by making “stubble bombs.” It is a new product in the market and authorities are scratching their head over it as they can’t decide whether to ban or promote it.
