Congress Leaders Share X-Ray Reports Following Modi’s Claims That Demonetisation Broke The Backbone Of Corruption.

Recently, RBI issued a report stating that 99.3% of the total demonetised cash has returned to banks. The report re-fuelled the age-old debate of whether demonetisation in India was a success or a failure. The opposition did not miss this opportunity and jumped to declare demonetisation as a scam or a failure or both.

Almost fifty days after announcing demonetisation, PM Modi, in a rally, claimed that demonetisation has broken the backbone of the Corrupt, the Naxalites, the Maoists and the Hawala operators. In order to dismiss Modi’s claims, Congress leaders today held a Press Conference where they shared their X-ray reports with the media and slammed Modi for his claims. The reports revealed that their backbones were pretty normal in shape, and did not even have a hairline fracture, lest be broken. Many people who tweeted using the #MeTooUrbanNaxal hashtag also happened to attend the Press Conference and several of them got their X-rays done right on spot.

Doctors from AIIMS were also present during the press conference and further substantiated the claims of the Congress leaders, affirming the fact that Modi indeed lied and the backbone of all the leaders are absolutely perfect despite most of them being out on bail or charged with one or another corruption scam.

Many however lost sight to the fact that cash would’ve returned to the banks nevertheless. The real talking point should have been around the quantum of unaccounted fake currency notes that have now been rendered useless and consequently expunged from the economy. But as expected, Congress is not too eager to disclose the amount of counterfeit currency they were holding and instead chose to resort to whataboutery.

Soon after the press conference got over, Congress President Rahul Gandhi formed a team of 500 doctors, who will be visiting Naxal and Maoist affected areas (including JNU) and will hold a free X-ray campaign for our country’s insurgents. He has decided to make this issue one of the biggest agendas against the Modi government for the upcoming 2019 General Elections. If Congress comes to power in 2019, Rahul Gandhi is expected to take his connected MRI vision a step ahead and connect X-Ray machines allover the country to revolutionize healthcare.
