As the country is witnessing the widespread protests against the Citizenship amendment Bill, there is a different side to it as well. It was observed that the protestors came from far away to find new matches on dating apps for hook ups or one night stands.

The protestors had pre-planned their stays in couple (Even LGBTQ) friendly rooms beforehand. When our reporter spoke to one of the protestor, he answered: “This is a nice place to hook up. I knew that police may indulge in lathi-charging and I will take that opportunity to make my move.”

Our reporter also asked the medical store owners nearby and one of them replied that “Opposition before 2019 elections believed in ‘spreading love not hate’ , but post 2019 elections we have seen a minor change in their strategy which is ‘spread love after hate’. This move will also boost the economy.”

Few other medical stores have also conveyed that they are witnessing rise in condom sales during the protests. The entire chain from dating apps, hotel industry and medical stores are believed to gain out of these protests. – added an industry expert
