Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) is an upcoming Bollywood movie based on the true events of 2016, when the Indian Army conducted a surgical strike on Pakistan to avenge a deadly terrorist attack, which is scheduled to release on 11th Jan 2019. The famous movie reviewer, Arvind Kejriwal is likely to review the movie on the first day itself.
CM Arvind Kejriwal’s close aide revealed that the CM shall watch the movie only to find loopholes so that he can prove that a surgical strike never happened. This has been the official stand of Kejriwal, who soon after the attack, had demanded proofs and wasn’t satisfied with the footages that the Indian Army released.
The Vicky Kaushal and Paresh Rawal starrer movie have has already created controversy and is causing immense heartburn to channels like NDTV and The Wire. Amidst all this agony, Arvind Kejriwal’s review comes as a light of hope for these channels as Delhi’s CM might be the last resort to set a narrative against the Surgical Strikes and brand it fake.
