However, a day after Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal announced Zomato’s new 10 minute delivery, Zomato is again in controversy after a customer claimed that the chicken jumped from his ordered butter chicken parcel.
“Thank god I didn’t order mutton biryani” tweeted the customer with the video of chicken running from the butter chicken packet.
The Fauxy reached out the customer, who confirmed that the chicken in the butter chicken was alive and ran away the moment he opened the parcel. The Fauxy also tried to contact the delivery partner who said something while running that we couldn’t understand.
Sources suggest that after the incident, Zomato has decided to keep its 10 minute delivery feature only for vegetarian orders until it finds out a solution for non-vegetarian orders.
