Golden Globes 2020 host Ricky Gervais kicked off Sunday’s awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, with a series of scathing, inflammatory remarks about hypocrisy in Hollywood and other gripes. “I came here in a limo tonight, and the license plate was made by Felicity Huffman,” Ricky Gervais began.
Looking at his growing popularity Bollywood award show IIFA announced that Ricky will host the 2020 show. IIFA is the glamorous version of Filmfare where the functions are held in exotic locations. But Bollywood stars who were known for embracing IIFA with both arms have boycotted this year’s show.
Investigating reporter of The fauxy says “The stars are too scared of Ricky and his jokes. Anyways the films are getting boycotted in India and if Ricky makes a comment on you, chances are that it may not even get released. Such is the fear of Ricky. Many actors like Amitabh, SRK, Aamir, and Taimur have stopped the shooting of their films so that there is no film for Ricky to make fun about“.
Ricky has already started the research work for his anchoring. Bollywood stars will soon approach the Supreme Court to put a stay order on the IIFA awards.
