12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey, recently made a shocking revelation in a podcast, where he came out as a “trans-religion“. Massey said that his brother is Muslim, his father is Christian, his mother is Sikh, and his wife is Hindu, but he identifies as “religion-fluid,” choosing his religion based on the type of movie he is starring in at the time. Massey claimed that sometimes he feels like a Muslim trapped in a Hindu’s body, and vice versa, depending on the ideology of the producer he is talking to. Currently, he feels like a “kattar” Hindu, as his movie “The Sabarmati Report“, based on the Godhra riots, is about to be released. He also revealed his pronouns, which are Salaam/Namaste. At the end of the conversation, Massey said that Bollywood has many “trans-religion” individuals and demanded that the government recognize the trans-religion community as a minority and create laws to protect them, so others from his community can embrace their trans-religion identity without any fear.
